WASP

ZoŽ, a single mum, is broke and her kids are hungry. She bumps into Dave, a bloke she used to fancy, who doesn't know she's a mum. When he asks her out, she lies about having kids and leaves them outside the pub. Nearby, a bin attracts wasps looking for food.

Based on the novella by Colum McCann, a young British soldier in Northern Ireland is involved in an accident that kills a mother and her child. Later, the same soldier helps a farmer and his daughter save their drowning horse.
