   Salon: Creating Performances for Video Games

As gaming blossoms as a $100 billion market in 2014 and converges deeper with traditional entertainment practices, there is a rising crossover between the two industries than ever before for established and upcoming acting talent.
 
Using The Last of Us as a case-study, BAFTA Game Award-winner and Actress Ashley Johnson will provide an in-depth look into the craft of creating true-to-life performances for video games, the creative similarities and differences to acting in TV/Film, insights into the processes of casting, preparation and script rehearsal, and what are the prospective steps into finding a path and transitioning into this industry.
