Please join us as we welcome multifaceted actor, writer, director and producer Tim Robbins.
 
Tim's work includes Dead Man Walking, Shawshank Redemption, Mystic River, A Perfect Day, upcoming series The Brink and has recently Executive Produced Elena.
 
Behind Closed Doors is our ongoing series of conversations with the world’s most respected and influential talents.

 
The evening will be introduced by Petra Costa and will include a special screening presentation of feature film Elena.

As gaming blossoms as a $100 billion market in 2014 and converges deeper with traditional entertainment practices, there is a rising crossover between the two industries than ever before for established and upcoming acting talent.
 
Using The Last of Us as a case-study, BAFTA Game Award-winner and Actress Ashley Johnson will provide an in-depth look into the craft of creating true-to-life performances for video games, the creative similarities and differences to acting in TV/Film, insights into the processes of casting, preparation and script rehearsal, and what are the prospective steps into finding a path and transitioning into this industry.
