Throughout the year, BAFTA identifies hot-off-the-press British acting, directing, writing and producing talents and presents them to an exclusive audience of industry professionals in NY and LA through the Brits to Watch: The Screenings series.
 
As a special screening opportunity to our members, we invite you to join us for an advanced screening with director/writer Stephen Fingleton, who will present his debut feature film, The Survivalist.

   BAFTA Salon: Finding Your Audience: Viral Marketing & Online Buzz

BAFTA Los Angeles is pleased to welcome talented filmmaker Ruairi Robinson. Ruairi, originally a native of Ireland, will join us to discuss his career and share insights into finding your audience in the age of viral marketing. 
 
Robinson having worked in animation and live action, as well as, short form and feature length film will have a wealth of information to share and his latest short film, LEVIATHAN, was a viral hit upon its release garnering over a million views on Vimeo and attracted accolades from such film makers as Neill Blomkamp and Simon Kinberg.  Blomkamp and Kinberg are now attached as producers on the feature film version of the project.

BAFTA Los Angeles is pleased to announce a very special live BAFTA Masterclass event with the team behind hit ABC series Dancing with the Stars.
 
Presented as part of our commitment to education in our profession, this one-of-a-kind event will explore what it takes to successfully produce a two-hour live broadcast each week, and how a staple series in the UK successfully made the journey to US Primetime.
 
Join us for the live ABC show, followed by an exclusive Q&A session on the set with Director Alex Rudzinski and Showrunner Rob Wade.
