   Salon: An Actor's Life

A salon discussion of the career of actor, producer, director Norman Lloyd.
 
Attendance for the Salon will be limited to a maximum of 35 BAFTA Los Angeles Members. Therefore, please only make a reservation if you can guarantee you are able to attend. RSVP list will close for reservations and cancellations on Friday, June 29. Reservations for Guests are not permitted, but if space becomes available you will be notified and guest seats allocated on a first-come basis.

   Inside the Gates: Hollywood in 10 Years - Will Studios Survive the Deluge?

BAFTA Los Angeles is pleased to invite Members to an upcoming seminar presentation presented by Korn Ferry International and Hollywood 2 Go.
 
Hollywood studios confront a Brave New World in which people access, select, and consume entertainment. Changes in technology and economics are forcing media and entertainment companies to examine and evolve their long-standing strategies and business models, often moving into uncharted territories to reach the public.
 
This presentation, led by studio veterans Bob Rubin and Jeff Korchek of Hollywood2Go will explore these challenges and some possible responses by Hollywood studios.

BAFTA Los Angeles will once again be partnering with Variety to present the BritWeek Film & TV Summit on Friday, April 27, 2012 with a discounted rate for Members.
 
Registration has now begun and BAFTA Members are eligible for a special discounted rate.

Advanced Rate (register by April 20, 12) = $129.00
Standard Rate (starting April 21,12) = $149.00

The BritWeek Film & TV Summit presented by BAFTA Los Angeles and Variety will explore a range of topics, including opportunities in the UK for film and TV content creators, resources for UK filmmakers in the US, scripted and reality programming trends and the reasons British projects succeed or fail in the US and vice versa. The summit will provide a welcoming environment in which to network and establish valuable new connections with likeminded filmmakers and business executives from the film, television and digital media worlds.
