Mentoring
BAFTA/LA's Education Committee has created an excellent Mentoring program for Members with specific problems
or hurdles with their project. The program offers the opportunity to meet an expert (and BAFTA/LA Member) for guidance and advice.
The Garden Party
Hosted annually, the Garden Party celebrates the continuing success of BAFTA/LA and offers Members a chance
to gather with their friends, peers and colleagues.
Currently held at the Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills, the serene gardens and courtyard offer an intimate setting for Members
to enjoy champagne, taste great food, and have the chance to win a plethora of spectacular prizes.
For further details on the Garden Party please click here.
The Tea Parties
The BAFTA/LA Tea Parties have a long tradition of recognizing the very best filmmaking talent by honoring the British and
American Academy nominees. The Film Nominees Tea Party is held at the beginning of the year, and a party co-hosted with the Academy of Television Arts and
Sciences (ATAS) honors the Television community prior to the Emmy Awards.
Now a staple fixture in the Awards season calendar, these hugely popular events allow Members and guests to relax and enjoy an
old-fashioned British Tea Party. The Tea Party is a uniquely elegant affair, and has therefore become hugely popular with Nominees seeking a respite from
the hectic and demanding Awards season.
